Recently someone sent me an email about my book end your story. Begin your life... She said:

I had to write and let you know how much I'm enjoying your book. I've studied the work of Eckhart Tolle, Don Miguel Ruiz, did the Landmark Forum, etc, but so far your book is sinking in deeper than anything before.  I really appreciate it, and just wanted to let you know.

That is fairly typical of the feedback I've had and I am grateful, for the book is doing its job; it is having a deep and profound awakening effect on those who are drawn to it. The distributor has just taken it on, so it will start to get out to a wider audience soon. You can even advance order it on amazon.com for $19 plus shipping.

The central message in the book can be summed up in five words: Breathe, and relax into being. Or, expressed differently: when you notice you are lost in your thoughts, in a story of some kind (and suffering is a sure sign you're "lost" in a story), come back to being present in this moment now...

Breathe deeply and slowly, feel the sensations and aliveness in your body, listen to the sounds around you, watch the thoughts and images passing through your mind... and realize that all these phonemena are always changing, coming and going, yet you, as the aware being noticing them, are always here, changeless, timeless, ever-present...

That's the practice of freedom in nutshell.

Meanwhile, I leave LA for northern California on June 1, visiting family and friends, doing several events (see below), then returning June 13 and leave the next day for 10 days vacation in Manila, Philippines. I'm staying with an old friend, and it will be fun..

That's the key thing that happen as you awaken to freedom and become more present in your life: you enjoy whatever is happening, and life becomes rich in love, meaning, and purpose. It truly is the only real game in town...
